True Date of Resurrection Day
Resurrection Day only happened ONCE one ONE DAY, and not any given Sunday between April and March.
Yahshua Christ rose on Sunday, Abib/April 15. How do I know this you ask? Well it is written right there in the Bible for everyone to see.
a. Yahshua Christ celebrated the true Passover Sabbath on Thursday, Abib/April 12 on what we call Holy Thursday; but it is in fact the true Sabbath as Christ had to do EVERYTHING in all righteousness, so He could not disobey the 4th Commandment, no way. So therefore Thursday is the seventh day.
b. We all agree that Christ was crucified on Friday, Abib/April 13....ooooh bad luck Friday.
The Hebrews called Friday "preparation day" because it was the day before their sabbath, and as no work or cooking could be done on the sabbath, all cooking and preparations were done on the day before which had to be Friday, Abib/April 13. So yes we can say without a doubt the Christ was crucified on Friday, Abib/April 13.
Also as it was the day before the Jewish passover, the Jewish priest asked the the bodies removed from the crosses before their high sabbath.
The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away. John 19:31
c. Now the Jews celebrated the Passover on Saturday, Abib/April 14, two days after Christ celebrated it.
In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the Lord's passover. Leviticus 23:5
Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the Lord thy God: for in the month of Abib the Lord thy God brought thee forth out of Egypt by night. Thou shalt therefore sacrifice the passover unto the Lord thy God, of the flock and the herd, in the place which the Lord shall choose to place his name there. Deuteronomy 16
d. So Christ was crucified on Friday Abib/April 13, was placed in the tomb, and rose on the day AFTER the Jewish Passover of Abib/April 14, on the THIRD Day which had to be Sunday, Abib/April 15.
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. Matthew 28:1-2
Note: (Remember as stated previously, the Jews celebrated the Sabbath on Saturday, so they considered Sunday the first day of the week, but Christ celebrated the Sabbath on its true day Thursday, therefore Friday is the first day of the week, Saturday is the second day of the week, and therefore Sunday is the third day of the week. He rose on the THIRD DAY, not in three days.
And shall deliver Him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify Him: and the third day He shall rise again. Matthew 20:19
On the original calendar, the dates were written in stone and did not rotate, therefore as Abib/April 15 fell on Sunday it fell on Sunday EACH year.
Did you know that a priest in the Vatican selects the date of Easter/Resurrection Day each hear? And each year it is a different date, but always on Sunday. Did you know that Easter Sunday is the most profitable day of the year for churches? Yes more people attend church on Easter than on December 25. So no doubt the priests want to make sure it falls on Sunday when 90% off the population is off from work and free to attend, never mind that it is not the actual day that Yahshua Christ rose. When I was a child the catholic church was referred to as the Roman Catholic Church, reminding us that the religion originated in Rome. Remember it was under the Roman ruler Pontius Pilate that Christ was sentenced to death, perhaps that is why the Vatican Priests work so hard to make Resurrection Day is such a mystery.
