The Mark of the Beast
We have been led to believe the “mark of the beast” is 666, and we are all determined NOT to have that number. But is 666 really a terrible number or is it the divine number?
This is the Scripture that alludes to the “mark of the beast,” it is in the Book of Revelation:
Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast for it is the number of a man, and his number is Six hundred threescore and six. Revelation 13:18
Grammatically this verse looks suspect, too much punctuation, capital letter in the wrong place, definitely looks tampered with. Nowhere in the other sixty-five books of the Holy Bible does it say that six is the number of man, but there it is in the very last book of the Bible. It seems that there should be a period (.) or some other punctuation after “and his number is six,” as that would explain what the number of man is. Why is the (s) in six capitalized while the (h) in hundred is lowercase? After searching the entire King James Version of the Holy Bible, I found “six hundred” listed 63 other times and in ALL instances the (s) in six as well as the (h) in hundred were all lowercase. I found 24 instances where the word “hundred” was preceded by another number and in ALL of those cases both the first letter of the preceding number, and well as “hundred” were all lowercase including a verse in the very next chapter of Revelation.
And the winepress was trodden without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs. Revelation 14:20
How do we come to accept the fact that six is the number of man? As Adam supposedly became a living soul on Friday, what we consider the sixth day of the week, hence six is the number of man. But we are erroneously working from the calendar of the Law of Aaron which was not the calendar of Yahweh. (Review Law of Aaron Chapter, the Passover Chapter, and Sabbath Chapter).
This next Scripture proves that the true people of God celebrated the Sabbath on a different day from the high priests hence their day count was different:
Now in Jerusalem the people of the Church could not renew Shabuot year by year as the people of the temple religion did not keep the same Sabbath day, and the sounding of the Trump of Summons when it was not their Sabbath.....
